Chris Stokes Net Worth $3 Million

Chris Stokes is the son of famous actress Irene Stokes, and the brother of R’n’B singer and hip-hop artist Juanita Stokes. At the age of 12, he began showing an interest in music, as he started singing in several groups and participating in talent shows. Soon after, he realized that he wanted to work in the management area.

His early connection with the entertainment industry was songwriting and record producing, which resulted in a collaboration with his sister Juanita on her song “Mind Blowin` in 1995. The song earned positive critiques, which inspired Chris to start working more and more in that area. Before the end of the 1990s, he collaborated with the R’N’B group Destiny’s Child, on their album “Writing On The Wall” (1999), which has sold more than 17 million copies. He has also collaborated with Chris Brown and Ariana Grande, which also added to his net worth.

However, the main source of his net worth has been his managerial skills, as he discovered new pop, hip-hop and rap stars such as Immature, B2K, Mila J, Brandy, Marques Houston, Omarion, Jhené Aiko and others. So Chris has also founded his own music/entertainment group TUG (The Ultimate Group), which focuses on searching for new talented musicians, and developing their careers. Subsequently, it became the home of stars such as Kevin McHale, B2K, and others who Chris represents.

He is also recognized as a screenwriter and film producer, beginning his career in the film industry in 2001 as a writer and the director of the “House Party 4” (2001). Since then he has been developing his skills, and has become respected in both these fields. In 2004 he wrote and directed the film “You Got Served” (2004), and three years later he wrote and directed “Somebody Help Me” (2007). Chris` net worth increased further, as he became more and more dedicated to film, creating such titles as “No Vacancy” (2012), “Boogie Town”, “Somebody Help Me 2” (2010), “Battlefield America” (2012), “Time Of The Month” (2013), “Will To Love” (2015), “Judge Amos” (2015), and most recently “A Weekend With The Family” (2016), and “Graduation Day”, which is yet to be released later in 2016.

Chris also launched his own clothing line, entitled “Christopher Brian Collection” in 2007, from which his net worth has also benefited significantly, as it was promoted by Kim Kardashian among others.

When it comes to his personal life, Chris Stokes is the father of four children, but little else is known about his private life. In free time, he is very active on social networks, such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

Have you ever wondered how rich Rob Cohen is? According to sources it has been estimated that Rob Cohen’s overall net worth is $20 million, as of late 2017, accumulated through a successful career in the entertainment industry, which started in the mid ‘70s. Since he is still very active in all the fields of his career, his net worth continues to grow.

Rob Cohen Net Worth $20 Million

Cohen studied anthropology and visual studies at Harvard University, and graduated magna cum laude. His senior thesis was inspired by his first filmmaking endeavor – a project for Harvard’s Admissions Office in 1970. After finishing his studies, he traveled to Los Angeles to work for Martin Jurow as a screenwriter, but as the plan failed he found himself unemployed. Several months later he found a job as a reader for agent Mike Medavoy and six months into his tenure at International Famous Agency he discovered an unheralded script in some neglected screenplays.

He decided to write a cover of it, although he was threatened with losing his job, however, Universal bought it for a record price and it became the Academy Award winning movie “The Sting” (1973). That same year 20th Century Fox Television hired him as Head of Current Programming to help out with the first year of “M*A*S*H”, perhaps the most popular series of all time, and so he eventually advanced to the title of Vice President of TV Movies. His net worth was now firmly established.

After meeting record label founder Berry Gordy who was trying to bring his company Motown into the film business, Rob was hired as the Executive Vice President of Motown’s motion picture division. His first idea for a Motown movie about African American Super Models – “Mahogany” – was sold to Paramount and filmed in Chicago and Rome. He also adapted Bill Brashler’s novel “The Bingo Long Travelling All-Stars & Motor Kings” into a movie. Cohen left Motown in 1978 and went to produce and direct TV series and films including “Miami Vice”, “Ironweed”, “The Wiz” etc. He started directing full-time from 1990, and many of his early efforts achieved considerable success, including “Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story”, “Daylight”, “Dragonheart” and “The Rat Pack” which won a Golden Globe award. In 2001 he directed probably his most commercially successful movie – “The Fast and The Furious” – which opened with $40 million at the box office in its first weekend, and starred Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. Cohen and Diesel teamed up again to make “XXX” and the later sequels of “The Fast and The Furious”. Some of his most recent films include “The Boy Next Door” (2015) starring Jennifer Lopez, and “The Hurricane Heist” a movie which he wrote and directed and is set for release in 2018.

Privately, Rob has residencies in Bali, Indonesia and Los Angeles, and is an avid surfer. He has four children from three marriages.
