After a successful beginning Chris released his debut album called “51/50 Ratchet” in 2007. “51/50 Ratched” debuted at number 24 on the well-known Billboard 200 chart in US, and in the first week 26,000 copies of album were sold. Christopher says it was inspired by South coast hip hop – a sub genre of American hip hop music which was locally popular at Shreveport, where Hurricane grew-up. Soon after releasing his debut album, the young rapper released his third single called “Playas Rock” which was produced by Mr. Collipark. The single peaked at number 47 on the Hot R&B chart and number 25 on Hot Rap Tracks. Two years later, in 2009, the rapper released his second album “Unleashed” in the same Southern hip hop style. “Unleashed” peaked at number 46 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 20 on US Top Rap Albums. Because of that Chris tried to work with many different producers like the famous American record producer, rapper and songwriter Shawty Redd, also with DJ Spinz, Phunk Dawg, 1500 or Nothin, Mr. Bangladesh, Seven and others. During the interview with hip hop news website AllHipHop.com on May 25, 2010 Chris mentioned he had changed his third album’s title to “Return of the Hurricane”. On January 2 2013 Christopher started to work on his third album’s promotion. A new mixtape called “Caniac” was released and featured the song “Bend It Over”. Also “Caniac has songs “Go Crazy”, “I Don’t F*ck With Yall”, “Pu**y on Me”, “Down South” and “Ball Hard”. The songs were accompanied by music videos.
