Eilleen Regina Edwards was born on 28 August 1965, in Windsor, Ontario Canada, of part-Irish, Englis and French ancestry, and far better known by her stage name Shania Twain – her stepfather’s surname – is a singer and songwriter, considered to be one of the best selling artists in the music industry, and known for such albums as “Come on Over”, “The Woman in Me” and “Up!”. Although she has released only five full albums, Twain is still considered to be one of the most successful musicians, having won many varying awards, including CCMA, Grammy, Golden Pick and Juno Awards and many others.
